JellyBlob is a browser game made by kvickan. This page explains the information used by the game. Updated September 24, 2026.

Your game and collection

Your nickname, chosen appearance, and live game state are visible to other players while you play. The game server keeps active rooms, the waiting line, and short reconnection state in memory. Your preferences and ordinary cosmetic achievements are saved in your browser's local storage.

Optional account saving

Guest play does not need an account. If you choose Google or Discord, that provider asks permission to share your basic profile with JellyBlob. We use a hash of your provider-specific account identifier, your display name, collection progress, equipped cosmetics, and saved-device contributions. We do not request your email, contacts, messages, or server memberships, and we do not retain provider access or refresh tokens.

An essential, secure HttpOnly cookie keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. It is separate from optional analytics. Login attempts expire after 10 minutes. Your saved collection remains until you request its deletion. Google and Discord are separate sign-in options; use the same provider on each device. Signing out ends this device's session and returns to its guest collection. Clearing browser data does not delete your cloud collection.

Existing invite and verified supporter records can be associated with your account by proving ownership with their private recovery keys. We save only the record identifiers, not the recovery keys. Verified refunds still remove the supporter entitlement. To request deletion of an account and its saved collection, contact the creator below and identify the provider you used; we will arrange private ownership verification.

Friend invitations

Invite rewards work independently of Google Analytics. We save a random browser-profile identifier, its public invite code, the first referring profile, and timestamps for creation and confirmed play. A friend counts once after 30 seconds of server-observed active play. We keep these records to preserve earned rewards and prevent duplicate credit. We do not use a device fingerprint or require your name or email for invitations.

Your private recovery key stays in your browser and is sent to JellyBlob to prove ownership. Your shared invite link contains only a public code. Sign in to save invite rewards across devices, or keep your private recovery key as a backup. Never share it publicly. Different browser profiles cannot reliably be identified as the same person, so these are profile-based rewards.

Supporter rewards

Buy Me a Coffee handles donations and its own privacy practices apply there. Its signed donation and refund events reach our verification endpoint. The game stores payment/event identifiers, claim codes, refund status, and timestamps. It does not store donor names, email addresses, payment-card details, or full donation messages. A separate private supporter recovery key restores your color pulse.

Optional analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics to measure page views, game starts, run totals, queues, sharing, cosmetic unlocks, and referral totals. We send no player nicknames, private recovery keys, donation details, or public invite codes in these events. Page addresses are stripped of query strings and fragments. Google receives ordinary connection and device information and may set analytics cookies.

Analytics is off until you allow it. Advertising storage and personalization stay off. You can change your choice under Settings → Optional analytics. Turning it off stops our analytics events and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already collected by Google. See Google's privacy policy.

Hosting and other services

Sites/Cloudflare deliver the website and store reward records. Render runs the multiplayer arena. These providers necessarily process connection information such as IP addresses and may retain operational logs. Fonts may load from Google Fonts independently of analytics. Opening Buy Me a Coffee takes you to that service.

Control and contact

Clear this site's browser data to remove local preferences, ordinary achievements, and recovery keys. Sign in first to save your collection, or keep private recovery keys as a backup. To ask about your data or request deletion of server-side reward records, contact the creator through Buy Me a Coffee. Provide your public invite or claim code; never post your private recovery key.
